If you manage to drive your car into deep water, the car will begin to sink.  You will have roughly 3-4 seconds to exit the car before Niko drowns.  Heres a tip if you are having a water stand off with the police.  normally, you cannot fire weapons while swiming – which leaves Niko a sitting duck for enemy fire.  If you have driven a car into the water, you can climb on top of it using the square button and then use the roof of the car as a platform to fire off of.

Simply do as the video says, and boom – you can get back to the old school roots of the GTA franchise.

Niko can throw both the Molotov and the grenade out of any vehicle while he is driving.  While in a vehicle, cycle to your grenades by pressing square.  Once you have the grenades/Molotovs selected hold L1 to prime the grenade, and release L1 to throw the grenade out of driver side window.

Once again, if you hold the grenade too long – it explodes and Niko dies.

Heres a real gem of a Machinima. Its a story about a young doctor just tryin’ to make a living down at the Liberty City hospital, who unfortunately is surrounded by a grossly incompetent nursing staff. The BF2 tie in is a nice touch as well. What are you waiting for? WATCH IT!!!!!!

Typing the number 486-555-0100 into the cellphone will grant Niko the following weapons:

The baseball bat, the desert eagle handgun, the MP5, the M16 assault rifle, the automatic sniper rifle, grenades, and the RPG.

Use the cheat several times to fill up ammo reserves for all weapons.

Here at Gtastud, we always a enjoy a good death montage. Today’s video doesn’t disappoint. Check out the deaths at 0:53 for a great stunt car jump, and the skyscraper jump at 1:12 into some helicopter blades in multiplayer. Also worth a look, is the scene at 2:02 withthe flaming car creeping up on some unsuspecting Liberty City citizens.

GTA IV’s realism adds several interesting advantages for Niko as he attempts to etch out a living for himself in Liberty City.  Take for instance that you are able to shoot out car windows, and aim at targets who are still in their cars.  Free-look aiming for targets that are still within their vehicles gives Niko a huge tactical advantage, as enemies such as police will not fire on you until they have exited their car.

This can also become handy in missions that require Niko to assassinate an enemy within a set amount of time.  Simply run them off the road, and shoot them while they sit in their car.

Need a boat?  Spawn the Jetmax by inputing this cheat into the cellphone: 938-555-0100.  Always a handy cheat if you find yourself in the drink and in need of a boat.

While running, Niko can quickly turn around and continue at the same speed in the opposite direction by holding down on the left analog stick.  Useful if you notice a large amount of police pulling up infront of you and you need to run for it.

More glitches from the guys over at NextGenUpdate.com. This one involves a friend, a fence and a vehicle. Get your friend to hang on the fence, hop in the car and slowly knock the fence over while your bud is hanging on it. The glitch should cause your friend to start spazzing out by bouncing up and down. Once you achieve this state, you can mess around and cause all sorts of weird things to happen.
