Well we decided to find out. So we naturally decided to research metrics on Grand Theft Auto 4 for different platforms, to determine which platform had the most keyword searches and subsequently the most interest worldwide.

All the data we used to determine the search popularity was extrapolated from Google Search.  The keyword searches we used to get our data was: PS3 GTA 4, Xbox GTA 4, and PC GTA 4.

The results may surprise you…

Not at all what we expected! What really caught us offguard is the PC search results. Could there possibly be some pirating going on there… What do you think?

It turns out that GTA 4 is the most used search term, and beat out all the others by a fair margin.  Take a look:

Here are the top searches done by country for the keyword “GTA 4.”

  1. Russian Federation
  2. Estonia
  3. Belarus
  4. Latvia
  5. United Kingdom
  6. Hungary
  7. France
  8. Netherlands
  9. Norway
  10. Poland

Another rather funny thing to note is that none of the Western Countries even made the top 10.
