Roman Bellic is Niko’s cousin, and the person ultimately responsible for convincing Niko to come to Liberty City by promising him things like fast cars, money and women – all of which were a lie.  Roman has been living in Liberty City for awhile, and has started his own albeit rather unsuccessful Taxi Cab business.  Roman Bellic also has a gambling problem, which has got him into trouble more than once, requiring Niko to step in and save him. Roman is often portrayed as a coward, as is evident whenever danger presents itself, but he is also very friendly, loyal, and an eternal optimist.

Roman’s Special Ability:

Roman will offer you his Taxi cab service if he likes you enough - and will drive you anywhere in Liberty City for free.  Simply call Roman up, select “Call Service” and he will send a Cab to your position.

Roman’s easy going personality shines through here, call him at any time!

Jobs:

At a certain point, Roman will phone Niko up and tell him he could use some help with the Taxi Cab business.  Niko can phone Roman up and select “Jobs.”  Niko can make some extra money ferrying people around Liberty City this way.
